【摘要】:Thispracticeisprovidedtodevelopandmaintainuniformityinpracticesforavailability,use,andselectionofsafetydevicesontreestandsandclimbingsticks,particularlywithregardtoqualityassuranceandsafety.Itisemphasizedthattheuseofthesepracticeswillnotalterthevalidityofdatadeterminedwithspecifictests,butprovidesguidanceintheinterpretationoftestresults(validorinvalid)andguidanceintheselectionofareasonablegeneralprovisioninthoseinstanceswherenostandardexiststoday.1.1Thispracticeprovidesguidanceforprovidingusersafetydevicesontreestands.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
