【摘要】:Sincepipelinecoatingsaresubjectedtoconcentratedpressuresexertedbytheweightofthepipeandthebackfill,thistestisintendedprimarilyfordeterminingtheresistanceofthecoatingtopenetrationordeformationundercontrolledconditions.3.1.1Deformationofacompressiblecoatingdoesnotsignifyapotentialweaknessinundergroundburialservice,ifthecoatingisnotpenetrated.Deformationcannotbecomparedtopenetrationintoandthroughacoating.1.1Thisacceleratedtestmethodisusedtodeterminetherelativeresistanceofsteelpipelinecoatingstopenetrationordeformationbyabluntrodunderaspecifiedload.Thetestmethodisintendedtoapplytothetestingofalltypesofnonmetallicpipelinecoatingssubjectedtovarioustemperatures.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitstothreesignificantdecimalsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
