【摘要】:Pseudomonasaeruginosaisanopportunisticpathogen,andhasbeenlinkedasthecausativeagentofnumerousinfectionsthatmaybetransmittedthroughacontaminatedwatersupplytoasusceptiblehost.Inadditiontoitsdirectpathogenicity,theassociationofP.aeruginosawithhumanfecalwasteindicatesthatwhereelevatedlevelsofP.aeruginosaarefound,aserioushealthhazardmayexistduetothepresenceofotherpathogens.ThemembranefiltrationproceduredescribedisarapidandreliabletestmethodofdetectingP.aeruginosainwater.1.1ThistestmethodcoverstheisolationandenumerationofPseudomonasaeruginosa(P.aeruginosa)fromsurfacewaters;recreationalwaters;groundwater,watersupplies;especiallyruralnonchlorinatedsources;wastewater;andsalinewaters.Thedetectionlimitofthistestmethodisonemicroorganismper100mL.1.2Thistestmethodwasusedsuccessfullywithreagentwateranditistheuser''sresponsibilitytoensurethevalidityofthistestmethodforwatersofuntestedmatrices.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardstatementsaregiveninSection10.
