【摘要】:Thisinvivoprocedureisdesignedtotesttheabilityofhygienichandwashorhandrubagentstoeliminateselectedtypesofbacteriafromexperimentallycontaminatedskinofthehandsofadultsubjects.Sincethetwothumbpadsandalleightfingerpadscanbeusedinanygiventest,itallowsfortheincorporationofaninputcontrol(two),controlforviablebacteriaremainingaftertheinoculumhasbeenallowedtodry(two),bacteriaeliminatedaftertreatmentwithacontrolorreferencesolution(two),anduptofourreplicatestoassessthebacteria-eliminatingefficiencyoftheproductundertest.Nomorethan100x00B5;Lofthetestbacterialsuspensionisrequiredtocompleteonetest.Theresultsoftestingwiththistestmethodmayformthebasisforconfirmatorytestsusingasuitablewhole-handtestprotocol,suchasTestMethodE1174.Whereasthistestmethodrelatestotestingwithbacteria,itcanbereadilyadaptedtoworkwithprotozoaandbacteriophages.Similarmethodsforworkwithfungi(TestMethodE2613)andvirusesofhumanorigin(TestMethod)arealreadyASTMstandards.Potentiallyinfectiousmicroorganismsleftonhandsafterwashingcanbereducedfurtherbydryingthewashedhandswithpaper,cloth,orwarmair(7).Astepforthedryingoffingerpadsafterexposuretothecontrolortestsolution,therefore,hasnotbeenincludedtoavoidbacterialremovalbythedryingprocessitself.Thistestmethodisnotmeantforusewithsurgicalhandscrubs(TestMethodE1115)orpreoperativeskinpreps(TestMethodE1173).Thelevelofcontaminationwithviablebacteriaoneachfingerpadafterthedryingoftheinoculumshouldbefive-toten-foldhigherthantheproductperformancecriterionrequired.Forexample,thetiterinthedriedinoculumoneachfingerpadshouldbeabout105colonyformingunitsofthetestbacteriumwhena>104reductionisrequiredundertheconditionsofthistestmethod.1.1Thistestmethodisdesignedtodeterminetheactivityofhygienichandwashandhandrub(4)agentsagainsttransientbacterialfloraonhandsandisnotmeantforusewithsurgicalhandscrubsorpreoperativeskinpreps.1.2Performanceofthisprocedurerequirestheknowledgeofregulationspertainingtotheprotectionofhumansubjects.1.3Thetestmethodshouldbeperformedbypersonswithtraininginmicrobiologyinfacilitiesdesignedandequippedforworkwithinfectiousagentsatbiosafetylevel2(5).1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

适用范围
本标准规定了对环境管理体系的要求，使一个组织能够根据法律要求和重大环境影响信息，制定环境方针与目标。它适用于那些可为组织所控制，以及可能希望组织对其施加影响的环境因素。但它本身并未提出具体的环境表现（行为）准则。本标准适用于任何有下列愿望的组织：a）实施、保持并改进环境管理体系；b）使自己确信能符合所声明的环境方针；c）向外界展示符合性；d）寻求外部组织对其环境管理体系的认证/注册；e）对符合本标准的情况进行自我鉴定和自我声明。本标准中所有的要求都适用于任何一个环境管理体系。其应用程度取决于组织的环境方针、活动性质、运行条件等因素。本标准还在附录A中对如何使用本规范提供了提示性的指南。对于本标准的任何应用，都应明确界定其范围。
