【摘要】:Theabilityofafueltodissipatechargethathasbeengeneratedduringpumpingandfilteringoperationsiscontrolledbyitselectricalconductivity,whichdependsuponitscontentofionspecies.Iftheconductivityissufficientlyhigh,chargesdissipatefastenoughtopreventtheiraccumulationanddangerouslyhighpotentialsinareceivingtankareavoided.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationoftheelectricalconductivityofaviationanddistillatefuelswithandwithoutastaticdissipatoradditive.Thetestmethodsnormallygiveameasurementoftheconductivitywhenthefuelisuncharged,thatis,electricallyatrest(knownastherestconductivity).1.2Twotestmethodsareavailableforfieldtestsoffuelconductivity.Theseare:(1)portablemetersforthedirectmeasurementintanksorthefieldorlaboratorymeasurementoffuelsamples,and(2)in-linemetersforthecontinuousmeasurementoffuelconductivitiesinafueldistributionsystem.Inusingportablemeters,caremustbetakeninallowingtherelaxationofresidualelectricalchargesbeforemeasurementandinpreventingfuelcontamination.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionarystatements,see7.1,7.1.1,and11.2.1.
